We might still be able to use sams robot to load and take away blocks from the cnc machine. The only reason we’re using a 1.2kg block of delrin per unit is because when doing it manually. If a robot is set up to change over blocks, the pieces would naturally become smaller because there’d be no hypothetical difference. Saving cost & time in the longer run. Not to mention the idea of machines that people can log into remotely to work on things is too attractive an idea.

Just measuring a sample piece of about the appropriate size. The weight would be around 300-350g. If sams robot can lift 200g, it might be a candadite to use two, one on each side. If the mounting improves as, to accept circular blocks. You could see it going down to around 150g
